Fresh truffles, are they?
Yes, they are. First of all, to guarantee their freshness, unlike any other store or reseller, we don’t keep them in stock. When you place an order, we get the dogs out and hunt specially for you. The time can be even shorter, if the destination country doesn’t require specific documents in order to deliver the package.
What quality to expect?
One of the best! Are you sure you haven’t tried them already? Well, I’m not. It’s a well hidden secret that 98% of the Bulgarian truffles are exported to EU. If you don’t believe me, try to look for an official statistic about the internal EU import/ export of truffles. I tried, but I wasn’t able to find such.
Where do I know that our truffles are exported?
Furthermore, it’s a public secret where resellers distribute them. Truffles grow in all parts of the country. You might not know, but we have a lot of them. There are only few companies (2 or 3) in Bulgaria that produce products with truffles. Where all the picked truffles go then?
So, they come from Bulgaria?
Yes. They originate from an ecologically clean area, located in Northeast Bulgaria. There are no highways, factories or big cities nearby, so you can expect a real organic product.
What truffle varieties do grow in Bulgaria?
We gather truffles throughout the whole year. Depending on the season we can offer:
